Tortillas are flat pieces of bread made from corn or flour. Tortillas are used in Mexican foods such as burritos, tacos and enchiladas. When restaurants need tortillas, they get them from a tortilla wholesaler. When supermarkets and grocery stores need to buy tortillas, they get them from tortilla wholesalers. Most tortilla wholesalers sell both flour tortillas, wheat tortillas yellow corn tortillas and white corn tortillas. Some tortilla wholesalers sell specialized tortillas that are used in wraps such as spinach and pesto tortillas or sun-dried tomato tortillas. Many tortilla wholesalers also vend other Mexican foods and some vend other foods that are not Mexican in origin. Some tortilla wholesalers only sell one brand of tortilla and often these wholesalers manufacture the tortillas they sell.
